Principal DeTurk holds a BA from Wayne State College, a masters degree from Doane in Curriculum and Instruction and a masters from the University of Nebraska at Kearney in School Administration. She has been with WPPS since 2006. Mrs. DeTurk was with Beemer Public School for two years. She previously taught three years at Crofton, NE, and three years at Salina, KS and nine years at Grand Island, NE. She has two children.
Nancy Daugherty, Secretary
Nancy Daugherty started with WPPS in July of 2003. Prior to WPS she was the engineering department administrative assistant at NPPD in Norfolk. Nancy and her husband Kim have 2 sons and 3 grandaughters. They enjoy spoiling their granddaughters and spending time on the lake with family and friends.
