1st Grade
Nikki Feilmeier , Instructor
Mrs. Feilmeier has taught at WPES since 2010. Prior to teaching in West Point she taught kindergarten for four years and 2nd grade for one year with Omaha Public Schools. She received her bachelor’s degrees in both Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education from the College of Saint Mary and her masters in reading from Concordia University.
Mrs. Feilmeier is married to Curt. In their spare time they enjoy spending time with family and going to Husker games.
Jean Baumert, Instructor
Mrs. Baumert has been teaching at West Point Elementary since 1994. Prior to that time she taught at Districts 18, and 22 in rural Cuming County and owned and taught at Kiddies Korner Preschool.
She has been married to Richard Baumert, Jr. for three years. Mrs. Baumert has three grown children, Kevan, Megan, and Kate. Their father is Donald Reeson who passed away from cancer in 1994.
