Special Services
Lori Goldhorn, Alternative Ed. & Special Ed. Instructor
Ms. Goldhorn earned a BA degree in Elementary Education and Social Sciences from Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa. She has received 36+ graduate hours from Wayne State College, UNL and the University of Northern Colorado. Ms. Goldhorn has been at WPPS since 1979. Previously, she coached volleyball, basketball and Special Olympics. Her other teaching experience includes teaching ELL for Northeast Community College. Ms. Goldhorn enjoys watching sports, traveling and flower gardening. |

Jean Bohling, Resource 7-8
Mrs. Bohling has a Bachelor of Science in Education degree from UNL, a Special Education endorsement from Dana College and a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction degree from Wayne State College. She has been at West Point Public Schools since the fall of 2007. . |

Peg Rood, Special Ed. Instructor
Ms. Rood received a K-12 Special Education degree from Kearney State College. She has been at WPPS since1982.
She enjoys camping, spending time with family and friends, and her pug.

Bob Peacock, Resource High School
Mr. Peacock holds degrees in Elementary Education and K-12 Special Education from Dana College, 2005, and he also has a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Wayne State College, 2008. He has been teaching at West Point since 2005.
In addition to teaching he has been on the football staff since 2006, and he has been the headcoach since 2008. |
