Michele Kent English 7, English 8, college credit English Mrs. Kent holds a BS in Secondary Education and an MS in English Education. Mrs. Kent received her degrees from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, and Wayne State College. Mrs. Kent has taught at West Point since 1991. |

Angi Klitz Advanced Speech , Speech I, Speech 7 Mrs. Klitz received her Bachelor of Science degree with endorsements in English and speech from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln in 1993. She received her Master’s degree in communication education in 1999 from Wayne State College. Mrs. Klitz taught 7 years at Oakland-Craig and 5 years at West Point Central Catholic before coming to West Point-Beemer Jr.-Sr. High School in the fall of 2005. Teaching part-time allows Mrs. Klitz the opportunity to teach speech courses for Northeast Community College, as well as teaching high school. Mrs. Klitz is married to Chris Klitz, who is a self-employed pork producer at Klitz Bros., Inc. She and her husband have three sons. |

Leslie Kreikemeier Publications, Speech, English 8 Mrs. Kreikemeier graduated from the University of Nebr. at Kearney and was a member of the first freshman class at UNK. Mrs. Kreikemeier received a BA in Ed. with a Language Arts/English endorsement. She will receive her MS in Education/English from Wayne State College. She previously taught at Dodge from 1995-2005. Mrs. Kreikemeier has been at WPBHS since 2004. Mrs. Kreikemeier coaches the Speech team and is sponsor for the yearbook. She works part-time and is home part-time with her three sons. Her husband, Todd, is from West Point, but she grew up in Southeast Nebraska. |

Kathy Mahannah English 10, English 11 Composition
Mrs. Mahannah graduated from Wayne State College in 1980. She has been a member of the WPPS staff since that time. Mrs. Mahannah has 36 graduate hours accumulated. |

Iona Michaelis 8th grade English, English 9, English 11 Literature Iona Michaelis graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1971 with a BS in Secondary Education with a 7-12 English endorsement. In addition, she has acquired 36 hours of graduate credit from various Nebraska colleges. Mrs. Michaelis began her teaching career at Naper High School, followed by Lewis Central in Council Bluffs, and 26 years at Scribner-Snyder High School. She has been teaching at West Point-Beemer High School since 2000. Iona and her husband, Ken, have four children, all graduates of West Point High School. |
