Basketball, Volleyball, Golf and Football Summer Camps gearing up


Upcoming dates for Summer Cadet Basketball: Elementary/Middle School Camp- Monday, June 4th-Thursday, June 7th

Grades 6-8 (HS Gym): 9:00 am-10:30 am

Grades 3-5 (Elem. Gym): 11:00 am-12:30 am

Forms will be going out first week of May to all boys going into grades 3-8.

BEST Shooting Camp- Begins Wednesday, June 6th

Grades 4-7: 12:30-1:30 pm

Grades 8-12: 1:30-2:30 pm

Forms can be located in the high school and elementary offices. You can also register online.

High School Basketball Clinic (Grades 9-12) Tuesday, May 29th-Friday, June 1st from 1:00-3:00 pm 8th Annual WPB Team Camp Friday, June 22nd starting at 8:00 am



Cadet Volleyball Youth Skills Camps will be July 17th-19th at the high school gym at WP-B.

The camp will run from 9:00-11:00 each day and will cover all fundamentals and skills related to volleyball!

All girls currently in grades 2-7 are encouraged to attend!

Forms for the camp are available at any of the school offices.

 Your child wants to participate in golf, but you are too busy to get them to the course?     

                                    NO PROBLEM, WE GOT YOU COVERED!!!

West Point Public Schools will help you out by providing transportation that will depart from the elementary parking lot at 12:45 p.m. and return at 3:30 p.m.  

Pick up at Beemer Pronto 1p.m. and drop off at Pronto 3:15 p.m.  

What about clubs?  Those who have their own set please bring them. If you don’t have your own set of clubs, we will provide clubs for you courtesy of West Point Booster Club.

What does my child need to wear? Shoes, T-shirt/ OR polo, mesh shorts are acceptable

What not to wear? ABSOLUTELY NO Baseball or football cleats, please NO CUT OFFS

   Camp dates:     Monday-Friday June 18th-22nd        Time: 12:45-3:30 p.m. (at the course 1-3)

To help cover the cost, there will be a $35 fee to participate or $50 for two children.

All those interested in football next fall are invited to participate in several events on our calendar this summer.

Below is an explanation of the items on the calendar:

Lift – Monday through Thursday each week unless listed otherwise from 7AM – 8AM for those entering grades 9- 12 in our new weight room! The cost is free.

ACP Camp – Tuesday May 29th – Friday June 1st from 8:15AM-10:45AM for those entering grades 9-12 on the lower practice fields. The cost is $10 per player.

7 on 7 – Wednesdays May 30th, June 6th, June 13th and June 20th for skill position players on offense and defense entering grades 9-12. There will be varsity and junior varsity games from 10AM-12PM at Columbus Lakeview High School. The cost is $10 per player.

Skills – Wednesdays June 6th, June 13th, June 20th, June 27th and July 11th for all team members from 8AM-9AM after lifting to work on position specific skills. The cost is free.

Concordia Team Camp – Wednesday June 27th from 6:00PM-9:30PM in Seward on Concordia University’s campus. This is a full contact team camp for all team members entering grades 9-12 where we get to scrimmage other schools for an evening. The cost is $25 per player.

Total high school participant summer cost $45 – Please bring checks to the high school office made out to West Point Football. If not a full participant please write in which events your child is participating in the notes section of your check i.e. ACP, Concordia.

Testing – Multiple weight room and workout events used to measure summer program effectiveness

3-6 Camp – Monday July 30th through Wednesday August 1st from 1PM-2:30PM for those entering grades 3-6 on the upper practice field. The cost is $20 per player.

7-8 Camp – Monday July 30th through Wednesday August 1st from 10:30AM-12PM for those entering grades 7-8 on the upper practice field. The cost is free.

Conditioning – Monday July 30th through Friday August 3rd from 7:00PM-8:00PM for those entering grades 9-12 on the lower practice field. The cost is free.

Fall PracticeMonday August 6th the beginning of the journey!
