COVID Protocols

Covid Protocols

Overview: if you are sick stay home. If you have Covid symptoms, please see your health care provider.

If someone in your house tests positive, please seek recommendations from your healthcare provider. Our guideline is that close contacts will be required to stay home for 10 days or wear a mask for 14 days. We will not override a healthcare provider’s recommendation.

Classroom/Grade Level Exposure Guidelines

Grades PK – 4th

  • In our self-contained classrooms, students will not be permitted to attend school if three positive cases are within their classroom.
  • In the event we have two or more positive cases within a self-contained classroom, we will notify the parents of that classroom. Parents will have an option of having their child wear a mask for a designated time. Doing so will prevent the student from being self-isolated if a third case should occur.

Grades 5 – 12

  • Students not in self-contained classrooms, the threshold will be, if 20% of students in a grade test positive that grade will not be permitted to attend school.
  • In the event we have 15% or more positive cases within a grade level, we will notify the parents in that grade level. Parents will have an option of having their child wear a mask for a designated time. Doing so will prevent the student from being self-isolated if their class reaches a 20% positive rate.
