On November 18th -  6 West Point-Beemer High School students attended the NCA Sportsmanship and Leadership Summit held in Norfolk! The students learned about Personal Responsibility as a Participant and a Spectator, Game Day Environment, Culture, and Goals, Social Media and Mental Health.

FFA Leadership Events Results

It was a busy day Wednesday with all of the Leadership events at the Nielson Center. Title IX Policy

The West Point Public Schools Board of Education has adopted policy #3057 regarding Title IX, the prohibition against discrimination on the basis of sex, and grievance procedures for complaints. This policy is attached to this letter.

Pursuant to this policy, the district does not discriminate on the basis of sex in any education programs, which extends to admission and employment.  Inquiries about the application of Title IX and 34 C.F.R. part 106 to the district may be referred to the district’s Title IX Coordinator, the assistant Secretary for Civil Rights of the United States Department of Education, or both.
