We are incredibly proud to announce that West Point Elementary Principal, Mr. Doug Gross, has been selected as a 2025 recipient of the Lozier Foundation’s Lights Outstanding Principal Award!
Mr. Gross was honored last night at the awards ceremony at the Kiewit Luminarium in Omaha. The award is given by the Lozier Foundation and the Metropolitan Omaha Education Consortium (MOEC) to recognize outstanding elementary school principals for their leadership and impact on students. The award, which stands for “Leaders Igniting Growth and Helping Transform Schools,” also includes a grant for the winner’s school.
As part of the award, the Lozier Foundation will donate $25,000 to West Point Elementary.
