I hold a bachelor's degree in Sociology and Human Service Counseling from Wayne State College. After graduation, I spent 6 years in the Regular Army. Shortly after leaving the Army, I joined the National Guard and attended Wayne State College where I received my degree in mathematics education. I retired from the Iowa public school system after serving as a high school math teacher and coach, a secondary principal, and a school superintendent. I will be teaching middle school and high school math while coaching middle school cross country and wrestling. I'm excited to get back into the classroom on a full time basis.
