Due to the forecasted heat index for tomorrow, the softball games at Ponca has been postponed until September 18.
Here is the bracket for the Bluejay Softball Tournament this weekend at Timmerman Park. The Cadets will take on Bishop Neumann @ 10:00 AM on field #1.
West Point-Beemer offers insurance for students through Student Assurance Services. If you are in need of insurance for your student, please see the office for enrollment and cost information.
This year all students in grades 7-12 may attend HOME sporting events for free.
Students in grades K-6 will also be admitted for free if they are accompanied by an adult. There may be charges for tournaments, performances, and East Husker Conference hosted activities.

Parent Meetings Information
Volleyball meeting will be in HS Gym after volleyball scrimmage.
Cross Country meeting will be at 6:30 (right before the cross country scrimmage)
Football meeting will be in the bleachers at the football field following the scrimmage.
Due to construction at Laurel High School, the volleyball triangular on Thursday, August 24, has been move to Battle Creek.

Reminder that tonight from 6:00 to 7:30, West Point Public Schools will be holding their annual Open House for all parents and students! Free hamburgers, chips and drinks will begin serving just before Open House begins.
There will also be an Activities Meeting for parents with students in grades 9-12 at 5:30 in the Multi-Purpose Room.

Nate Neuhaus with the Nebraska Schools Activities Association will be putting on a presentation before our Open House on Monday, August 14th. Presentation will begin at 5:30 PM in the Multipurpose Room.
Any parent with a student in grades 9-12 who plans to participate in high school activities should plan to attend!
This is a reminder to pay your high school student’s computer usage fee before the first day of school, you can pay the fee on the infinite campus registration fee tab.
