Schools are back in session across the state, so it's important to remember the law. You must always stop when a school bus stop arm is activated. The only exception is for traffic on a divided highway moving the opposite direction.

Thank you to the Nebraska State Patrol and the Nebraska Department of Transportation for their School Bus Stop Arm Awareness Video!

IT'S BACK AND BETTER THAN EVER!

As a fundraiser for the girls' basketball team, we will be raffling off yard lines for home football games this year. The proceeds raised from this raffle will go towards future summer team camps, summer leagues, apparel, and equipment. For the low cost of $35, you can help support your GBB program, and have a chance to win up to $1500!

At the end of each quarter of our home games (excluding the Gatorade Scrimmage...but keep reading to learn more about that!), the person who holds the yard line for where the ball ends will receive $150. We will repeat this process for each quarter (1st-3rd) of every home game, giving you 10 chances to win!

The winner at each home football game is determined by which yard line the ball is spotted at the end of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd quarters. For example, if the ball ends on the South 39 yard line at the end of the 1st quarter, and that is your yard line, you win $150! If a team scores in the North End Zone as time expires at the quarter and you have the North End Zone, you win $150! ***This also includes field goals scored at the end of the quarter**

The following yard lines are for sale:
North 1-49
the 50
South 1-49
North End Zone
South End Zone

Once you purchase a yard line, it is yours to keep for the entire season! You can win multiple times!

You may purchase multiple yard lines as well.

To get a piece of the action, contact Coach Miller at jmiller@wpcadets.net or (402) 380-8027, pay the $35.00, and you are in for the season! The winning yard lines will be announced after each quarter of each home game. You DO NOT need to be present to win. Yard lines are first come, first serve!

Again this year, we will also be doing a raffle at halftime of the Football Gatorade Scrimmage! We will randomly select a yard line and the winner will receive a bonus $150.
