Nebraska HOBY Youth Leadership is excited to host an exciting leadership opportunity for 9th grade students from the Norfolk Metro Area. They will be hosting a one-day leadership experience on Saturday, March 22, 2025 from 9:15 am - 2:30 pm at the Norfolk Public Library. During this free event, 9th graders will participate in several sessions including great speakers, leadership activities, service learning projects, and reflections. It will be a fun, informative day with students from throughout the area. Registration is now open for up to three students from each school. Registration will close when we hit capacity of 40 students or by March 14. If any 9th grade students are interested, see Mrs. Knaak!

🚌FAN BUS🚌 West Point-Beemer will be offering a Fan Bus to Minden for the Girls Basketball District Final vs Minden on Friday for students in grades 7-12. The sign up sheet below needs to be turn into the high school office by Thursday, February 27th at noon (Sheets can also be picked up in the HS Gym). We ask that when you turn in your permission slip to also bring $5. The $5 will cover the cost of admission for the student at the game. ***We will need at least 30 students to sign up for the bus to make the trip.

Friendship, Fitness and 5K Fun since 2003 Girls on the Run Is Back at West Point Beemer This Spring! West Point Beemer Middle School is set to host another fun and fabulous Girls on the Run team this spring for girls in 5th and 6th grades. Girls on the Run is an innovative after-school program that combines exercise, education, mentoring and “Girl Power!” to inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident with a curriculum that incorporates running/walking. Each meeting focuses on a topic like friendship or communication and includes engaging activities and running games that foster learning and skills on the lesson of the day. The team will be training to complete a 5K run/walk at the end of the season at the school. The team will meet twice weekly after school for 8 weeks starting March 4th.
