They spent the day getting to know our school, connecting with our staff, and even took part in a fun community scavenger hunt around West Point.

Additionally, Wayne State College just announced the following online classes are available: ART 230 Graphic Design I, BUS 122 Personal Finance in Modern Society, CJA 105 Introduction to Criminal Justice, SPA 110 Elementary Spanish I. Any junior or senior students interested in online Dual Credit classes need to be sure to talk to Mrs. Knaak at the start of the semester.

The 1972 Volleyball team qualified for the State Tournament, Cadets participated in the third annual Earth Day, and the new school building, which had been turned down in 1965 and 1968, finally got approved in 1971 and would aim to open by the 1974-1975 school year!

Rebecca is originally from Hooper, Nebraska. She graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in the spring of 2024 with a degree in Agricultural Education and a minor in the Engler Agribusiness Entrepreneurship Program. She spent her first year teaching at Lakeview High School as an ag teacher, FFA advisor, and softball coach.
Rebecca will be teaching agriculture education courses including welding, agronomy, horticulture, natural resources, agribusiness, ag sales, and 7th grade ag. She will also be a FFA co-advisor and junior high girls wrestling coach.
Rebecca is excited to be working closer to her family farm. She has enjoyed getting to know students this summer with FFA activities and looks forward to building more relationships in the community.
We are excited to have you here at West Point!
