Cadet Youth Football Camp Update! 🏈
Due to today's expected extreme heat and heat advisory, Cadet Youth Football Camp has been postponed by one day.
New Camp Dates:
✅ Tuesday, July 21
✅ Wednesday, July 22
Everything else will remain the same. Thank you for your understanding as we make the best decision for the health and safety of our future Cadets. The safety of our young athletes always comes first. Please help us spread the word!

The 1929–1930 school year: a time when students arrived at school long before television, smartphones, and even sliced bread had become common household staples!
This week's pages highlighted the hardworking Annual Staff, the talented members of the Dramatic Club, and the Cadet Football Team. Back in 1930, students were listening to music on phonographs, gathering around radios to hear the latest news, and if you wanted to take a picture for the yearbook, there was a bulky camera and a lot more patience!
Ninety-seven years later, it's fun to see that while technology has changed, Cadets have always found ways to shine on the stage, on the field, and in the pages of the yearbook.

2004–2005 - "You Do Your Thing"!
Back in 2005, students were customizing their MySpace profiles, downloading songs onto their iPods, texting on flip phones, and watching shows like American Idol and The O.C.!
This yearbook highlighted Student Life and the West Point-Beemer FFA Chapter, showcasing everything from everyday moments in the halls to the leadership, hard work, and agricultural experiences that have long been a part of WPB tradition.
Whether they were in the classroom, at FFA events, or just enjoying life with friends, these Cadets were busy "doing their thing" and creating memories that still make us smile 21 years later!

The 1974-1975 school year was one to remember! Back in 1975, students were listening to the Bee Gees and Elton John on the radio, watching Happy Days every week, and sporting bell-bottom jeans that seemed to get wider by the month!
The Boys Wrestling team had their best season ever, the Boys Golf team captured both Husker Conference and District Championships, the Sweetheart Dance brought fun festivities, and the Graduates of 1975 were on their way!
WPHS had plenty to celebrate 51 years ago!

Back in 2019, students were making TikToks for the first time, streaming Disney+, listening to Old Town Road, and debating whether dark mode should be used on every app.
The 2019–2020 school year was one that nobody will ever forget. It began with Friday night lights, softball games, school dances, and all the excitement that comes with being a Cadet—and ended as one of the most unique school years in history facing the challenges of COVID-19.
This week's pages featured our Girls Softball team, who spent their fall competing and made it to the EHC Championship game, along with Prom, one of the most anticipated traditions of every high school year, which was rescheduled for mid-July!
While the year took some wild, unexpected turns, the memories and Cadet pride remained stronger than ever.
